पाण्डव-वृष्णि-समागमः तथा अश्वमेध-अनुज्ञा | Reunion at the Kuru Court and Authorization of the Aśvamedha
परिक्षिदिति नामास्य भवत्तित्यब्रवीत् तदा । “कुरुकुलके परिक्षीण हो जानेपर यह अभिमन्युका बालक उत्पन्न हुआ है। इसलिये इसका नाम परिक्षित् होना चाहिये।” ऐसा भगवानने कहा
parīkṣid iti nāmāsya bhavatt ity abravīt tadā |
毗湿摩耶那说道：当时，主宣告：“他的名字当为‘帕利克希特’（Parīkṣit）。” “当俱卢一族几近断绝之际，阿毗曼纽之子此婴得生；故当名为帕利克希特——守护并复兴宗脉之人。”主如是言。
