एवमुकक्त्वा तु वाष्णेयं पृथा पृुथुललोचना । उच्छित्य बाहू दु:खार्ता ताश्चान्या: प्रापतन् भुवि
evaṁ uktvā tu vārṣṇeyaṁ pṛthā pṛthulalocanā | ucchitya bāhū duḥkhārtā tāś cānyāḥ prāpatann bhuvi ||
毗湿摩波耶那说道：她如此对瓦尔什涅耶（圣克里希纳）说罢，广目之妇普利塔（昆蒂）举起双臂；悲恸压身，便倒伏于地。其余诸妇亦皆如是仆倒。此景昭示：纵使最坚忍的长者，也会为哀伤所摧；而共同的恸哭，成为对暴力与离散代价的伦理见证。
