यथा तदभवद् युद्ध॑ पाण्डवानां महात्मनाम् । भीष्मकर्णकृपद्रोणशल्यादिभिरनुत्तमम्,महात्मा पाण्डवोंका भीष्म, कर्ण, कृपाचार्य, द्रोणाचार्य और शल्य आदिके साथ जो परम उत्तम युद्ध हुआ था, वह किस तरह हुआ?
yathā tad abhavad yuddhaṃ pāṇḍavānāṃ mahātmanām | bhīṣma-karṇa-kṛpa-droṇa-śalyādibhir anuttamam ||
婆苏提婆说道：“那场战斗究竟如何发生——大魂的般度族与毗湿摩、迦尔那、克利帕、德罗那、沙利耶以及其他最卓越的战士之间，那无与伦比、至为重大的战争？请告诉我它是以何种方式展开的。”
