दिनानि पज्च तद् युद्धमभूत् परमदारुणम् | ततो द्रोण: परिश्रान्तो धृष्टद्युम्नवशं गत:
dināni pañca tad yuddham abhūt paramadāruṇam | tato droṇaḥ pariśrānto dhṛṣṭadyumnavaśaṃ gataḥ |
那场战斗以极端的惨烈持续了五日。其后，多罗那因劳顿而力竭，落入德里什塔丢姆那之手，遂被诛杀——此事昭示：纵是最强的武士，一旦为疲惫与时势所制，也难逃战争与旧誓所招致的果报。
