बुहस्पतिर्वाच अमर्त्य याजयित्वाहं याजयिष्ये कथं नरम् । मरुत्त गच्छ वा मा वा निवृत्तो<स्म्यद्य याजनात्
bṛhaspatir uvāca | amartya yājayitvāhaṃ yājayiṣye kathaṃ naram | marutta gaccha vā mā vā nivṛtto 'smy adya yājanāt ||
布里哈斯帕提说道：“我既已为不死的天众主持过祭祀，如今又怎能为必死之人主持祭礼？马鲁塔，你去也好留也罢——今日起，我已退出司祭之职。”
