Adhyāya 42 — Mahābhūta–Indriya–Adhyātma-Vyavasthā
Brahmā’s Instruction on Elements and Faculties
त्वग्घ्राणश्रोत्रचक्षूंषि रसना वाक् च संयता: । विशुद्धं च मनो यस्य बुद्धिश्चाव्यभिचारिणी
tvag-ghrāṇa-śrotra-cakṣūṃṣi rasanā vāk ca saṃyatāḥ | viśuddhaṃ ca mano yasya buddhis cāvyabhicāriṇī ||
伐由说道：“若有人能摄持诸根——触（皮肤）、嗅（鼻）、听（耳）、视（眼）——并能制御舌与言语；其心清净；其智不离所立一志而不动摇——此人便得吉祥之梵（Brahman），其上更无所高。”
