मरुत्तोपाख्यान-प्रस्तावः — Genealogy to Marutta and the Logistics of Royal Sacrifice
इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत आश्वमेधिकपवके अन्तर्गत अश्वमेधपर्वमें संवर्त और मरुत्तका उपाख्यानविषयक तीसरा अध्याय पूरा हुआ
prasandher abhavat putraḥ kṣupa ity abhiviśrutaḥ | kṣupasya putra ikṣvākur mahīpālo 'bhavat prabhuḥ ||
毗耶娑说道：“由普拉散提生下一子，名闻于世，号为克舒帕（Kṣupa）。由克舒帕又生伊克什瓦库（Ikṣvāku），乃强盛而至上的君王。”如此追述世系，是为昭示王法（rājadharma）与王责在代代相传中的延续。
