अश्वमेध-उपदेशः तथा मरुत्त-यज्ञ-धन-प्रसङ्गः

उत्सृष्टं ब्राह्मणैर्यज्ञे मरुत्तस्य महात्मन: । तदानयस्व कौन्तेय पर्याप्तं॑ तद्‌ भविष्यति

Transliteration

utsṛṣṭaṃ brāhmaṇair yajñe maruttasya mahātmanaḥ | tad ānayāsva kaunteya paryāptaṃ tad bhaviṣyati ||

Translation

尤提希提罗说道：“昆蒂之子啊，把那财物带来——那是大心王马鲁塔举行祭祀时，婆罗门们所遗留之物；足以为用。”就其语境而言，尤提希提罗所指乃是合乎正法、无害于民的补给之道：取用祭仪之后依法弃置之财，而非加重百姓负担或以强力夺取。
