अश्रुत्वा हितकामस्य विदुरस्य महात्मन: । वाक्यानि सुमहार्थानि परितप्यामि दुर्मति:
Transliteration
aśrutvā hitakāmasya vidurasya mahātmanaḥ | vākyāni sumahārthāni paritapyāmi durmatiḥ ||
Translation
我曾拒绝聆听大德毗度罗——一心为我谋福——那意义深远的箴言；因此我这愚昧的持国王，如今正被悔恨之火灼烧。
