स राजन्‌ मानसं दुःखमपनीय युधिषछ्िरात्‌

Transliteration

sa rājan mānasaṃ duḥkham apanīya yudhiṣṭhirāt

Translation

毗湿摩波耶那说：大王啊，在为优提士提罗拂去心中忧苦之后，（事态便依其进程继续推进）。此句凸显一种伦理之功：抚慰一位守正的君王，使其悲恸得以安定，从而即便在暮年与出离之际，亦能护持正法（dharma）。
