वैशम्पायन उवाच इत्युक्त: स तु त॑ प्राह व्यासो वेदविदां वर: । युधिष्ठटिरं महातेजा: पुनरेव महाकवि:
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: ity uktaḥ sa tu taṃ prāha Vyāso vedavidāṃ varaḥ | Yudhiṣṭhiraṃ mahātejāḥ punar eva mahākaviḥ ||
毗舍波耶那说道：此言既出，光辉的毗耶娑——诸知吠陀者之最胜——又一次对坚战（由提施提罗）开口。那位大诗人以灵性威德而炽然，续陈箴诲，于此沉重时刻引导国王趋向正法之道。
