Vyāsa’s Boon-Offer and Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Remorse in the Forest Assembly (आश्रमवासिक पर्व, अध्याय ३६)

gaḍākūle mayā dṛṣṭas tāpasaiḥ parivāritaḥ | sa tān āmantrya tejasvī nivedyaitac ca sarvaśaḥ ||
那罗陀说道:“我曾在伽陀河岸见到他,周围环侍着诸苦行仙。那位光辉之人向他们辞别,并将此事始末尽数陈明,随后便依其所当而行。”
नारद उवाच
The verse highlights disciplined communication and respectful conduct: one should inform others fully (sarvaśaḥ nivedya) and take proper leave (āmantrya), especially in a community of renunciants where truthfulness and propriety are central to dharma.
Nārada reports an eyewitness scene: a radiant figure is seen at the Gaḍā’s bank, surrounded by ascetics. The figure addresses them, conveys the matter in full, and then departs—marking a transition in the episode and indicating that actions are taken after due consultation and disclosure.
