Vyāsa’s Boon-Offer and Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Remorse in the Forest Assembly (आश्रमवासिक पर्व, अध्याय ३६)
उवाच चैनं मेधावी युड्क्ष्वात्मानमिति प्रभो । उन्हें उस अवस्थामें देख मेधावी संजयने उनकी परिक्रमा की और कहा--“महाराज! अब अपनेको योगयुक्त कीजिये
uvāca cainaṁ medhāvī yujasvātmanam iti prabho |
那罗陀说道:见他处于那般境地,智者三阇耶恭敬绕行一周,进言道:“大王!当自系其心,令身心入于瑜伽之定。”
नारद उवाच
The verse urges inner yoking (Yoga): gathering the mind and directing the self toward steadiness and spiritual discipline. Ethical strength is shown as self-mastery—especially when one is weakened or nearing life’s end.
Nārada narrates that the wise Sañjaya, seeing the person addressed in a particular condition, circumambulates him as a sign of reverence and then exhorts him: “O lord, compose yourself in Yoga; yoke your self.”
