वयमत्राग्निना युक्ता गमिष्याम: परां गतिम् । “संजय! तुम किसी ऐसे स्थानमें भाग जाओ, जहाँ यह दावाग्नि तुम्हें कदापि जला न सके। हमलोग तो अब यहीं अपनेको अग्निमें होम कर परम गति प्राप्त करेंगे”
vayam atrāgninā yuktā gamiṣyāmaḥ parāṃ gatim |
那罗陀说：“在此，我们已决意与火合一，前往至高之境。桑阇耶，你当逃往一处此林火永不能焚及之地。至于我们，将在这里以自身投火为供，得达无上归趣。”
