सरथा: सध्वजाश्रैव स्वानि वेश्मानि भेजिरे | तब मुनिवर व्यासजीने उन सब लोगोंका विसर्जन कर दिया और वे महामना नरेश एक ही क्षणमें सबके देखते-देखते पुण्यसलिला भागीरथीमें गोता लगाकर अदृश्य हो गये। रथों और ध्वजाओंसहित अपने-अपने लोकोंमें चले गये

Transliteration

sarathāḥ sadhvajāś caiva svāni veśmāni bhejire |

Translation

毗湿摩波耶那说：随后，他们连同战车与旌旗，各自回到自己的居处。其时，诸仙之最——毗耶娑——遣散众人；而那些大心的君王，在刹那之间——当众人目睹之下——跃入功德圣流的薄伽罗提河水中，顷刻隐没不见，前往各自所属的世界。此段彰显圣水的净化之力，以及对依达摩承担王者重任者所赐的最终解脱。
