Kuntī’s Retrospective Uddharṣaṇa and Renunciatory Resolve (कुन्त्युद्धर्षण-प्रत्याख्यानम्)
उन्होंने उत्तर दिया--'प्रभो! वे यमुनामें स्नान करने, फूल लाने और पानीका घड़ा भरनेके लिये गये हुए हैं' ।।
vaiśampāyana uvāca | tair ākhyātena mārgeṇa tatas te jagmur añjasā | dadṛśuś cāvidūre tān sarvān atha padātayaḥ ||
毗湿摩波耶那说道:他们循着所指示的道路,徒步疾行。才走不远,便看见那一行人从近处迎面而来。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even in hardship and withdrawal from royal life, dharma is sustained through orderly, humble duties—bathing, collecting flowers, and fetching water—showing restraint, cleanliness, and continuity of righteous conduct.
After being told the route, the group walks quickly along that path and soon sees the others returning nearby—those who had gone out for routine tasks connected with the Yamunā and daily needs.
