Wisdom is shown not merely in knowing dharma but in delivering timely counsel to those burdened by guilt, grief, and responsibility. Vidura’s approach signals that ethical clarity and meaningful speech are necessary for healing and right action in the post-war moral landscape.
After Yudhiṣṭhira speaks, the focus shifts to Vidura. He approaches Dhṛtarāṣṭra and begins a significant address. This verse functions as a transition: it introduces Vidura’s forthcoming counsel and frames it as weighty and purposeful.
