Even after devastating conflict, dharma expresses itself through humility, service, and care for elders and the bereaved. Kuntī’s attendance on Gāndhārī models ethical restraint and compassion toward those who have suffered loss, including former adversaries.
Vaiśampāyana describes how the Pāṇḍavas approach respectfully and perform all required duties, while Kuntī consistently attends upon Gāndhārī, emphasizing a household of elders being served in the aftermath of the war.
