Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
महापुण्यां च गगनात् पतन्तीं वै महेश्वर: । दधार शिरसा गड्जां तामेव दिवि सेवते,भगवान् महेश्वरने आकाशसे गिरती हुई परम पवित्र गंगाजीको सिरपर धारण किया, उन्हींका वे स्वर्गमें सेवन करते हैं
mahāpuṇyāṃ ca gaganāt patantīṃ vai maheśvaraḥ | dadhāra śirasā gaṅgāṃ tāmeva divi sevate ||
至为功德无量、极其清净的恒河自天而坠，世尊大自在天（摩醯首罗）以其首承载。即便在天界，他亦恭敬受用并礼赞同一条恒河——昭示神圣的克制与净化之力，凭此天尊护持那纯净而利益诸世之物。
