मेने दिविष्ठमात्मानं तुष्टया परमया युत:ः । शुद्ध अन्तःकरणवाले उन ऋषि-मुनियोंकी बातें सुनकर भीष्मजी बहुत संतुष्ट हुए और अपनेको स्वर्गमें ही स्थित मानने लगे
Vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca: mene divi-stham ātmānaṃ tuṣṭyā paramayā yutaḥ.
毗湿摩波耶那说：具足至上的满足，毗湿摩自觉已如安住天界。聆听诸仙心地清净之言，他内心大为欢悦，仿佛内在的澄明与智者的教诲，能使人在尘世亦先尝解脱之味。
