मत्तो5प्यष्टौ वरानिष्टान् गृहाण त्वं ददामि ते । प्रणम्य शिरसा सा च मयोक्ता पाण्डुनन्दन
matto 'py aṣṭau varān iṣṭān gṛhāṇa tvaṃ dadāmi te | praṇamya śirasā sā ca mayoktā pāṇḍunandana |
“也向我求取八种心愿之赐福吧；我将赐予你。”她如是说道。于是，噢般度之子啊，我俯首在宇宙之母足下顶礼，继而对她启言——（并开始陈述我的所求）。
