पितरं सखिभि: सो5थ श्रावयामास भार्गवम् | प्रमतिश्चा भ्ययाचत् तां स्थूलकेशं यशस्विनम्,तब उन्होंने मित्रोंद्वारा अपने पिता भृगुवंशी प्रमतिको अपनी अवस्था कहलायी। तदनन्तर प्रमतिने यशस्वी स्थूलकेश मुनिसे (अपने पुत्रके लिये) उनकी वह कन्या माँगी
