Shloka 5

तेन नादेन रौद्रेण नादेन च विभावसो:,कृष्णमशभ्युद्यतास्त्रं च नादं मुमुचुरुल्बणम्‌ | उन्होंने उस जलते हुए वनको और मारनेके लिये अस्त्र उठाये हुए श्रीकृष्ण तथा अर्जुनको देखा। उत्पात और आर्तनादके शब्दसे उस वनमें खड़े हुए वे सभी प्राणी संत्रस्त- से हो उठे थे। उस वनको अनेक प्रकारसे दग्ध होते देख और अस्त्र उठाये हुए श्रीकृष्णपर दृष्टि डाल भयानक आर्तनाद करने लगे

tena nādena raudreṇa nādena ca vibhāvasoḥ, kṛṣṇam abhyudyatāstraṃ ca nādaṃ mumucur ulbaṇam |

毗耶娑之弟子毗舍波耶那说道:被那可怖的喧嚣所惊动,又听见烈焰焚林时噼啪轰鸣之声,林中众生见黑天(克里希纳)高举兵器,便发出凶猛而纷乱的哀号。森林以种种方式燃烧,英雄们立于其间蓄势待击;在那火海之中,诸生灵尽陷恐惧,悲鸣不止,其声如不祥之兆,冲起于烈焰之间。
