वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic conduct through purposeful travel undertaken with the company of brāhmaṇas, suggesting that major undertakings—especially those with moral or ritual weight—are strengthened by guidance, learning, and adherence to righteous counsel.
After coming down from the Himālaya, Arjuna departs with brāhmaṇas and proceeds toward the eastern direction; the narrator Vaiśampāyana reports this to King Janamejaya as part of the ongoing account.
