नारद उवाच
The verse depicts the abundance of pleasure and comfort made available to the protagonists; ethically, it serves as a reminder that enjoyment itself is not the goal of life, and that discernment and restraint are needed so that prosperity does not eclipse dharma.
Nārada narrates that all kinds of divine enjoyments are presented, after which the two brothers, pleased and excited, take their seats on fine thrones/seats along with women, indicating a courtly or heavenly setting of hospitality and indulgence.
