समन्तपञ्चक-आख्यानम् तथा अक्षौहिणी-प्रमाणनिर्णयः

वसूनां पुनरुत्पत्तिर्भागीरथ्यां महात्मनाम् | शान्तनोर्वेश्मनि पुनस्तेषां चारोहणं दिवि,इसके बाद महाराज शान्तनुके गृहमें भागीरथी गंगाके गर्भसे महात्मा वसुओंकी उत्पत्ति एवं फिरसे उनके स्वर्गमें जानेका वर्णन किया गया है
vasūnāṁ punarutpattir bhāgīrathyāṁ mahātmanām | śāntanor veśmani punas teṣāṁ cārohaṇaṁ divi ||
其后叙事又述：大心之诸婆苏由婆伽罗提（恒河）而再生于商檀努王家；待其完成此生所注定的历程，复又升归天界。此段彰显命运与法则之运作：即便天众亦须承受诅咒之果，然能以正法尽其分内之责者，终将返还高界。
