Educational Q&A

Power must be governed by dharma: even when acting for a loved one’s wish, one should avoid arrogance and harm. Meeting a superior exemplar (Hanūmān) becomes a moral check, redirecting strength toward humility, restraint, and rightful action.

The verse points to the setting where the mighty Hanūmān is encountered in a plantain grove, connected with the quest for saugandhika lotuses and the forceful disturbance of a lotus-pond—an episode that frames a lesson through the meeting of heroes.
