युधिछिर उवाच परम॑ भो गमिष्यामो द्रष्ठं चैव महोत्सवम् । भवद्धि: सहिता: सर्वे कन्यायास्तं स्वयंवरम्,युधिष्ठिर बोले--ब्राह्मणो! हम भी द्रुपदकन्याके उस श्रेष्ठ स्वयंवर-महोत्सवको देखनेके लिये आपलोगोंके साथ चलेंगे
Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: paraṁ bho gamiṣyāmo draṣṭuṁ caiva mahotsavam | bhavadbhiḥ sahitāḥ sarve kanyāyās taṁ svayaṁvaram ||
坚战（Yudhiṣṭhira）说道：“诚然，尊者啊，我们也将前往，去见证那盛大的庆典——公主的自择婚（svayaṃvara）。我们众人都会随你同去。”坚战之言体现出谦恭克制与合乎法（dharma）的端正：他求赴会并非以强凌弱之姿，而是以敬礼参与者之心，使所行契合社会礼法与伦理规范。
