मण्डूकनेत्रां स््वाकारां पीनोधसमनिन्दिताम् | सुवालर्धि शड्कुकर्णा चारुशुज्रां मनोरमाम्,उसकी आँखें मेढक-जैसी थीं। आकृति बड़ी सुन्दर थी। चारों थन मोटे और फैले हुए थे। वह सर्वथा प्रशंसाके योग्य थी। सुन्दर पूँछ, नुकीले कान और मनोहर सींगोंके कारण वह बड़ी मनोरम जान पड़ती थी
maṇḍūkanetrāṃ svākārāṃ pīnodhasamaninditām | suvāladhī śaṅkukarnāṃ cāruśṛṅgāṃ manoramām ||
乾闼婆说道:“她的眼睛如蛙目一般,然而体态匀称而秀美;乳房丰盈而宽阔,处处无可指摘。尾姿娟好,耳尖挺立,角亦可爱,因此她显得格外动人。”
गन्धर्व उवाच
The verse models careful discernment in speech: even when describing something as an object of desire or value, the speaker frames it in terms of qualities—blamelessness, completeness, and beauty—hinting that praise should be grounded in observable attributes rather than mere craving.
A Gandharva is describing a particular cow in vivid detail—her eyes, form, udder, tail, ears, and horns—emphasizing that she is exceptionally attractive and worthy of admiration.
