इति श्रीमहाभारते आदिपर्वणि जतुगृहपर्वणि वारणावतयात्रायां द्विचत्वारिंशदधिकशततमो< ध्याय:,इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत आदिपर्वके अन्तर्गत जतुय॒हपर्वमें वारणावतयात्राविषयक एक सौ बयालीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

Transliteration

iti śrīmahābhārate ādiparvaṇi jatugṛhapārvaṇi vāraṇāvatayātrāyāṃ dvi-catvāriṃśad-adhika-śatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ

Translation

如是，在《圣摩诃婆罗多》阿底篇之“漆屋”部中，叙述前往瓦罗那瓦塔之行的第一百四十二章告终。此章末题记标示这一叙事单元的结束，并提示情节的转折：般度五子赴瓦罗那瓦塔之行，乃更大欺诳之计与迫近危机的一环，由此引出关于背叛、责任与警觉的道义诘问。
