तांस्तु सर्वान् समानीय सर्वविद्यास्त्रशिक्षितान् । द्रोण: प्रहरणज्ञाने जिज्ञासु: पुरुषर्षभ:
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
tāṁs tu sarvān samānīya sarvavidyāstra-śikṣitān |
droṇaḥ praharaṇa-jñāne jijñāsuḥ puruṣarṣabhaḥ ||
毗湿摩波耶那说：当那些王子们在一切学艺与兵器之学上都已受训圆满之时，德罗纳——人中之杰——便将他们召集一处，欲加考验，辨明他们在武器知识与操持运用上的真实造诣。
