द्रोणस्य तु तदा शिष्यौ गदायोग्यौ बभूवतु: । दुर्योधनश्न भीमश्न सदा संरब्धमानसौ

vaiśampāyana uvāca | droṇasya tu tadā śiṣyau gadā-yogyau babhūvatuḥ | duryodhanaś ca bhīmaś ca sadā saṃrabdha-mānasau ||

毗湿摩耶那说道:当时,德罗纳有两位弟子在棍棒(钉锤)之战中尤为称手——都利约陀那与毗摩塞那。他们的心念常常炽烈翻涌,彼此怀着愤怒与争胜之意;这份仇竞后来将滋长更大的纷争。
