तुल्येष्वस्त्रप्रयोगेषु लाघवे सौष्ठवेषु च । सर्वेषामेव शिष्याणां बभूवाभ्यधिको<र्जुन:
tulyeṣv astraprayogeṣu lāghave sauṣṭhaveṣu ca | sarveṣām eva śiṣyāṇāṁ babhūvābhyadhiko 'rjunaḥ pāṇḍunandanaḥ ||
毗舍摩波耶那说:在兵器的运用上——当诸般演练相当之时——无论敏捷还是精妙,般度之子阿周那都显出胜过一切弟子。凭借恒常的修习与对武器之学的切求,他超越同侪,乃至足以与其师相抗衡。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
True excellence arises from sustained practice, focused curiosity for learning, and refined execution; superiority in skill is portrayed as merit-based rather than merely inherited.
Vaiśampāyana reports that during weapons training, Arjuna outperformed all other disciples in equal trials—especially in agility and finesse—establishing himself as the foremost student.
