ततः संवर्धयामास संस्कारैश्वाप्पपोजयत्‌ । प्रातीपेयो नरश्रेष्ठो मिथुनं गौतमस्य तत्‌

Transliteration

tataḥ saṃvardhayāmāsa saṃskāraiś cāpy apūjayat | prātīpeyo naraśreṣṭho mithunaṃ gautamasya tat ||

Translation

毗湿摩波耶那说：此后，出自普罗提帕一脉的尊贵之王（商檀奴），抚育那对属于乔达摩的孩子，悉心照料并加以礼敬；又在适当之时，为他们圆满举行诸般应行的“桑斯迦罗”(saṃskāra)——教化与净化之礼。
