अध्याय 91: अरिष्ट-लक्षण, मृत्यु-संस्कार, पाशुपत-धारणा तथा ओङ्कार-उपासना

इति श्रीलिङ्गमहापुराणे पूर्वभागे यतिप्रायश्चित्तं नाम नवतितमो ऽध्यायः सूत उवाच अत ऊर्ध्वं प्रवक्ष्यामि अरिष्टानि निबोधत येन ज्ञानविशेषेण मृत्युं पश्यन्ति योगिनः

iti śrīliṅgamahāpurāṇe pūrvabhāge yatiprāyaścittaṃ nāma navatitamo 'dhyāyaḥ sūta uvāca ata ūrdhvaṃ pravakṣyāmi ariṣṭāni nibodhata yena jñānaviśeṣeṇa mṛtyuṃ paśyanti yoginaḥ

如是,在《圣灵伽大往世书》前分中,名为“苦行者之忏悔”的第九十一章开启。苏多说道:“从今以后我将宣说诸般凶祥征兆(ariṣṭa),汝等当善加领会;凭借那殊胜的灵知,瑜伽行者得以直观死亡本身,并由洞见帕提——主宰——而超越恐惧。”
