vyapohantu bhayaṃ pāpaṃ prasādātparameṣṭhinaḥ aśvinī bharaṇī caiva kṛttikā rohiṇī tathā
凭至上主(Parameṣṭhin,至尊者)之恩,愿恐惧与罪垢尽皆消除。愿阿湿毗尼、婆罗尼、克利提迦及罗希尼诸宿(nakṣatra)赐予护佑。
Suta Goswami (narrating a protective nakshatra-prayer within the Linga Purana tradition)
It frames protection and purification as effects of Śiva’s prasāda (grace), aligning Linga-pūjā with the removal of pāpa and bhaya, while invoking cosmic order (nakṣatras) as supportive powers under the Lord’s sovereignty.
Śiva is implied as Parameṣṭhin—the supreme Pati—whose grace alone uproots fear and sin, indicating that liberation from pasha (bondage) is ultimately dependent on divine anugraha rather than mere effort.
A protective japa/prayoga invoking nakṣatras under Śiva’s grace—used as a śānti (pacification) and rakṣā (protection) rite alongside Shaiva observances such as Linga-pūjā and purification disciplines.
