tamāhurvaradaṃ devaṃ vāraṇendrasamaprabham paśupāśavimokṣārthaṃ darśayāsmān maheśvaram
Suta Goswami (narrating a petition made by devotees/devas within the story)
It frames Shiva-darshana (often mediated through Linga-upasana) as the means of anugraha by which the paśu is freed from pāśa—making worship not merely devotional, but liberative.
Shiva is portrayed as Pati—Maheshvara, the varada Deva—whose radiance and sovereignty are matched by compassionate power to dissolve bondage and bestow moksha through grace.
The verse emphasizes darśana-seeking as a core Pāśupata orientation: approaching Maheshvara for release from pāśa, implying disciplined worship, surrender, and grace-centered liberation.
