他们看见诸神之神的空中宫殿:晶莹如水晶,金阶层层,饰以金刚石与吠琉璃宝,因主自身的光辉而灿然照耀。

The verse frames Shiva as Pati (Lord) whose realm is pure and luminous; in Linga-puja, such imagery supports the meditational ascent from gross form to the crystal-like (sphāṭika) purity of Shiva-tattva.
By presenting the Lord’s abode as crystal-bright and jewel-radiant, it points to Shiva-tattva as self-luminous consciousness—untainted, transparent, and sovereign over all devas.
It primarily supports dhyāna (contemplative visualization): fixing the mind on Shiva’s radiant purity helps the pashu (soul) loosen pasha (bondage) and turn toward the grace of Pati.
