Adhyaya 63: Daksha’s Progeny, Kashyapa’s Offspring, and the Rishi-Vamshas that Sustain the Worlds
नारदो ऽनुगतान्प्राह पुनस्तान्सूर्यवर्चसः भुवः प्रमाणं सर्वं तु ज्ञात्वा भ्रातॄन् पुनः पुनः
nārado 'nugatānprāha punastānsūryavarcasaḥ bhuvaḥ pramāṇaṃ sarvaṃ tu jñātvā bhrātṝn punaḥ punaḥ
那罗陀又对随行的、光辉如日者说道:“既已圆满了知诸界的尺度与次第,当屡屡前往你们的兄弟处,使他们亦得闻知。”

By stressing “bhuvaḥ pramāṇa”—the true measure/order of the worlds—the verse frames Linga worship as alignment with Pati (Shiva), the cosmic ground beyond all lokas, so devotion is not merely worldly but oriented to the transcendent Lord.
Shiva-tattva is implied as the ultimate standard (pramāṇa) behind all cosmic levels: the worlds can be measured and known, yet their source and ruler—Pati—remains the supreme principle to be realized through right knowledge and devotion.
The verse highlights jñāna-based discipline—learning and transmitting cosmological and metaphysical order—supporting Pāśupata-oriented practice where right understanding loosens pāśa (bondage) for the paśu (individual soul) through guidance and repeated instruction.
