स्नानविधिः — गायत्र्यावाहन, सूर्यवन्दन, तर्पण, पञ्चमहायज्ञ, भस्मस्नान, मन्त्रस्नान

यजुषां परिमृज्यैवं द्विः प्रक्षाल्य च वारिणा प्रीत्यर्थं सामवेदानाम् उपस्पृश्य च मूर्धनि

yajuṣāṃ parimṛjyaivaṃ dviḥ prakṣālya ca vāriṇā prītyarthaṃ sāmavedānām upaspṛśya ca mūrdhani

如是依《夜柔吠陀》之法拭净身手,并以水洗涤两次;为令《娑摩吠陀》欢悦,当以所净之水触及头顶。由此内外清净圆满,然后方可趋近礼敬主宰(Pati)—大自在天湿婆。
