vyajanaṃ grāmavastrādīnsopaskāraṃ sumaṇḍapam / bhojanaṃ ca mahātkuryātkṛtakṛtyaśca jāyate / yajamāno vimuktaḥ syātsthāpakasya prasādataḥ

Vedantic Theme: Karma purified by dāna and sevā; grace (prasāda) as a catalyst for inner freedom while acting within dharma.
Application: Pair spiritual practice with service and feeding; ensure those who facilitate sacred/community work are cared for; seek closure and blessings after major undertakings.
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
Type: well-adorned mandapa / community feeding space
Related Themes: Garuda Purana 1.48 (samāpti: bhojana, upaskara, mandapa; prasāda of sthāpaka)
This verse presents such offerings—provisions, a proper pavilion, and a generous meal—as duty-completing acts that generate religious merit and purification for the sponsor.
It implies that supportive ritual acts (dāna, hospitality, correct arrangements) reduce bondage from pāpa and help the patron move toward release, aligning ritual merit with spiritual progress.
Perform rites with sincerity and completeness: support qualified officiants, provide necessary materials, and practice generous feeding/charity as a disciplined form of dharma.
