Baladeva Marriage
kakudmī revatīṁ kanyāṁ svām ādāya vibhuṁ gataḥ putryā varaṁ paripraṣṭuṁ brahmalokam apāvṛtam
It appears that Brahmaloka, the abode of Lord Brahmā, is also transcendental, above the three modes of material nature ( apāvṛtam ).
This verse states that King Kakudmī personally took his daughter Revatī to Brahmaloka and approached Lord Brahmā to ask about a suitable husband for her.
He sought authoritative guidance for finding the best bridegroom, so he went to the cosmic ruler Brahmā to inquire directly.
The verse highlights taking major decisions with humility and higher counsel—seeking wisdom from qualified authority rather than relying only on personal opinion.
