凯迦耶王德里什塔凯图迎娶了昆蒂的另一位姊妹斯鲁塔基尔蒂。斯鲁塔基尔蒂生了五个儿子,以桑塔尔达那为首。
They are figures in the royal genealogies: Dhṛṣṭaketu of the Kaikeya line marries Śrutakīrti, and through her come five sons, beginning with Santardana.
Canto 9 preserves the dynastic histories of saintly and royal families, establishing the flow of dharma and the historical setting leading toward the appearance and pastimes of Bhagavān in later narratives.
It highlights the Bhagavatam’s careful preservation of sacred history—encouraging readers to honor lineage, responsibility, and dharma, and to see human life within a larger spiritual narrative.
