The Yadu–Vṛṣṇi–Andhaka Genealogies and the Purpose of Kṛṣṇa’s Advent
शूरो विदूरथादासीद् भजमानस्तु तत्सुत: । शिनिस्तस्मात् स्वयंभोजो हृदिकस्तत्सुतो मत: ॥ २६ ॥
śūro vidūrathād āsīd bhajamānas tu tat-sutaḥ śinis tasmāt svayam bhojo hṛdikas tat-suto mataḥ
奇特拉拉塔之子为毗度罗他;毗度罗他之子为舒罗;舒罗之子为婆迦摩那。婆迦摩那之子为尸尼;尸尼之子为婆阇;婆阇之子为赫利底迦。
This verse lists successive ancestors in the Yadu line—Śūra, Bhajamāna, Śini, Svayaṁbhoja, and Hṛdika—showing the dynastic succession connected with Kṛṣṇa’s broader family heritage.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī speaks this verse to King Parīkṣit while narrating the dynasties of the Yadus and related royal lineages.
