तिमेर्बृहद्रथस्तस्माच्छतानीक: सुदासज: । शतानीकाद् दुर्दमनस्तस्यापत्यं महीनर: ॥ ४३ ॥
timer bṛhadrathas tasmāc chatānīkaḥ sudāsajaḥ śatānīkād durdamanas tasyāpatyaṁ mahīnaraḥ
由提弥将生布里哈德拉塔;由布里哈德拉塔生苏达萨;由苏达萨生舍塔尼迦。由舍塔尼迦生杜尔达摩那,其子为摩希那罗。
It lists a succession of kings—Timi, Bṛhadratha, Śatānīka (connected with Sudāsa), then Durdama, and finally Mahīnara—showing the continuity of the Chandravansha line.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī speaks this verse to King Parīkṣit while narrating the dynastic histories in Canto 9.
They train the reader to see history as sacred continuity under dharma, encouraging humility and remembrance that all worldly power is temporary, while devotion to Bhagavān is enduring.
