Maitreya (addressing Sage Parāśara’s taught Supreme Lord as the indwelling Vishnu)
This verse highlights Vishnu as the Antaryāmin—present within all beings as the inner witness and ruler—so nothing in a seeker’s intention is hidden from Him.
Within the Parāśara–Maitreya dialogue, the Lord is presented as omniscient and immanent; because He abides in every heart, He directly knows what the devotee seeks inwardly.
Vishnu is affirmed as the personal Supreme Reality—sovereign over all beings and intimately present—uniting transcendence with immanence in a distinctly Vaiṣṇava philosophical vision.
