अर्घ्यं दत्त्वा विधानेन मृदमालिप्य पाणिना । स्नायाच्छ्रद्धासमायुक्तस्तर्पयेत्पितृदेवताः

Transliteration

arghyaṃ dattvā vidhānena mṛdamālipya pāṇinā | snāyācchraddhāsamāyuktastarpayetpitṛdevatāḥ

Translation

Sau khi dâng arghya đúng nghi thức và lấy đất sét thiêng xoa lên thân bằng tay, người ấy nên tắm gội với lòng tín thành, rồi làm lễ tarpana để làm thỏa mãn các thần linh tổ tiên (pitṛ-devatā).
