Liṅga–Bera Pūjā: Nitya-Arcana and Upacāras as an Accessible Sādhana (लिङ्गबेरपूजा-विधानम्)
तूष्णीं सकलमात्रत्वादर्च्यंते बेरमात्रके । जीवत्वं शंकरान्येषां ब्रह्मत्वं शंकरस्य च
tūṣṇīṃ sakalamātratvādarcyaṃte beramātrake | jīvatvaṃ śaṃkarānyeṣāṃ brahmatvaṃ śaṃkarasya ca
Vì (Đấng Chúa) thấm khắp mọi thước đo và mọi phạm trù của hiện hữu, nên Ngài được thờ phụng trong lặng thinh qua chính pho tượng (bēra) mà thôi. Còn các vị khác—những ai không phải Śaṅkara—chỉ mang địa vị của jīva (linh hồn cá thể), trong khi riêng Śaṅkara có địa vị của Brahman (Thực tại Tối thượng).
