Nandikeśvara: Incarnation, Consecration, and Marriage—Description
ते गणेशाश्शिवं देवीं प्रणम्याहुः शुभं वचः । ते प्रणम्य करौ बद्ध्वा नतस्कन्धा महाबलाः
te gaṇeśāśśivaṃ devīṃ praṇamyāhuḥ śubhaṃ vacaḥ | te praṇamya karau baddhvā nataskandhā mahābalāḥ
Những Gaṇeśa dũng mãnh ấy cúi lạy Śiva và Devī, rồi thốt lời cát tường. Họ chắp tay cung kính, cúi đầu, hạ vai khiêm nhường.

It highlights the Shaiva ideal of humility and auspicious speech: even powerful beings attain fitness for Shiva’s grace by bowing with reverence (praṇāma) and speaking only śubha-vacana, aligning mind, body, and word in devotion.
The verse reflects Saguna-upāsanā—approaching Shiva as the personal Lord, together with the Devī as His inseparable Śakti. Such reverent approach is the same inner attitude prescribed for Linga worship: surrender, purity of intention, and devotional praise.
It suggests praṇāma and añjali (joined hands) as core devotional gestures, along with disciplined, auspicious speech—practices that naturally accompany japa (e.g., Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and daily Shiva-pūjā.
