ब्राह्मणीमरणवर्णनम् (Account of the Brahmin Woman’s Death) — within Nandikeśvara-māhātmya
तत्रैव स मृतो विप्रः पुत्राभ्यां च श्रुतन्तदा । तदीयं चैव तत्कृत्यं चक्राते पुत्रकावुभौ
tatraiva sa mṛto vipraḥ putrābhyāṃ ca śrutantadā | tadīyaṃ caiva tatkṛtyaṃ cakrāte putrakāvubhau
Ngay tại đó, vị Bà-la-môn ấy qua đời; rồi hai người con trai nghe tin. Hai người con liền cử hành đầy đủ các nghi lễ tang tế đúng pháp cho cha mình.
